We get it, you’re a celebrity now!

All that hard work, sleepless nights and the occasional sex tape has finally paid off…

But just because you’ve made it… doesn’t mean you don’t have to make resolutions like the rest of us.

For example…

1. Don’t Take Ambien

If 2018 proved anything, it’s that Ambien & Twitter don’t mix. Just ask Roseanne Barr!

Side-effects may include racism…

And getting fired from your high-rating TV show. I bet they don’t have that printed on the bottle…

If you are having trouble sleeping and have no choice but to use the controversial drug, I highly recommend turning off your phone before bed.

What you think is funny on Ambien… may not be so funny in the morning.

Speaking of bad jokes…

2. Don’t Be Political

Shortly after Roseanne lost her job over a vulgar tweet, even more unsavoury tweets started to resurface…

This time, it was director of Guardians of the Galaxy, James Gunn, who was in the Gunn…

The tweets were about a decade old… but that didn’t matter. Disney fired their Gunn as soon as the tweets made the headlines.

All because he got into a Twitter feud with a troll from the other side of politics…

When will celebrities learn? Don’t engage with trolls and whatever you do, don’t get involved in politics!!!

Gunn apologised for the bad jokes he made in the past to get noticed. It’s funny, they’re getting noticed now… but for all the wrong reasons.

Speaking of apologies…

3. Don’t Apologise

If the last case proves anything, it’s that an apology isn’t enough to satisfy trolls. Take Kevin Hart for example…

Hart was supposed to host the Oscars this year, but dropped out after trolls brought up homophobic jokes from the past…

Hart apologised for the tweets, again and again until he was done apologising and just wanted the whole thing to be over.

The allegation being, the apology wasn’t Hartfelt…

On the upside, his latest movie, The Upside, dethroned Aquaman as number one in the box-office. Ironically… people felt sorry for Hart.

The moral of the story, stop apologising for old tweets or better yet…

4. Delete Twitter

If there’s one common thread amongst all these stories, it’s that Twitter & celebrities don’t mix…

Forget Ambien!!! Twitter is worse for your career health. If there’s one resolution you should stick to that’ll cover all the rest, it’s deleting Twitter from your life!
