Ins and Outs to consider.
Get with it, you know what I mean
that thing comin’ out you ain’t no jelly bean.
To a young one, it’s frightening as hell.
Like someone cursed their bum with a wicked witch’s spell.
My infants were brave and had no fear but when it came time to drop, out came the tears.
And, I’m tellin’ you daughters and sons trying to get you to “Go”
ain’t no fun.
That pot looks gigantic to your little buns but listen up now, I’ve
seen too many diapers and too many runs.
You won’t remember these times and that’s okay because it wouldn’t be great
for these recollections to be on display.
So, let’s play a little game and give you a few rewards, maybe a cookie for pooping or a star on the board.
Let’s go a little further and give your crap a new name, let’s call it a doody cause’ it’s a lot more silly and easy to reframe.
Doody this, doody that just to say it can bring a smile or a big laugh.
It’s no bother to be a funny mother or father to get your child to giggle thinkin’ about the thought to make the doody wiggle.
