Why Southern Women Wear Makeup To A Colonoscopy

I went to the eye doctor today, he put some drops in my eyes, then said “You’ve got a lot of makeup in your eyes. I can’t tell much about your vision.”

I found myself wondering why on earth I wore eye makeup to the optometrist.

Then it dawned on me.

Because I’m a Southern female. We were told by our Mamas we needed to look good…
