Introduction
In the summer of 2021, I encountered Pickleball when the tennis courts that I played at for years got painted with Pickleball lines. So I started to play Pickleball and have loved the sport ever since.
Pickleball is a cross of tennis, ping pong, and badminton. A 2022 report from the Sports & Fitness Industry Association called Pickleball the fastest-growing sport in America, with 4.8 million players nationwide.
Fun, social and friendly. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players.

With a background in tennis, I quickly transitioned to pickleball as a “banger” — the term used to describe pickleball players who hit hard all the time.
