The Mighty Phad Thai
Oh, glorious noodles, a tangled delight,
You sit on my plate, golden and bright!
With bean sprouts dancing, carrots so thin,
One bite of you, and I’m wearing a grin.
The sauce — a mystery, sweet and divine,
A blend of magic, a taste so fine!
A squeeze of lime, a chili’s embrace,
You set my tongue on a fiery chase!
Eggs swirl through like a golden sea,
Tangled with peanuts, oh, lucky me!
Crispy tofu, or chicken so grand,
Who needs a fork? I’ll eat with my hand!
Oh, Pad Thai, you saucy charmer,
You’ve made my belly a happy farmer!
No diet can stop me, no rule shall apply,
For you, my dear noodles, I’ll gladly comply!
Now I sit, belly tight, with food-filled bliss,
Yet dreaming of my next Pad Thai kiss.
So let the world wait, let troubles go by,
I’m lost in the joy of my sweet Pad Thai!
