Good Intentions and a Near Arrest: A Year in Photographs

January at home
I’m not one for new year resolutions, but at the start of 2024 I made an aim to get out more in my local area. This image below shows I made a good start: a shortish walk in early January at Valley of the Rocks, just a 20 minute drive away.
Sadly, the good intention didn’t last. I have beautiful landscapes to discover on my doorstep, so why am I always yearning to be elsewhere?

I didn’t take any photos in February, possibly because I joined Medium! After years of writing travel articles for a blog that few people read, I was thrilled to come across this community. And not only for writing. From serious travel writing to fun stuff, I try to get a daily dose of reading when time allows.
