When You’re Tired of Being Tired It’s Time to Find a Happy Place
When the world’s gone to hell in a handbasket, it’s time to make a new plan, Stan. Talk about it and share it.
Fatigue sets in. Sometimes the world becomes so crazy and absurd you just want to throw your hands up in the air and crawl into a cave somewhere. Write off humanity and just do your own thing. Live off the land, eat edible plants and take walks in the evening sunset.
Maybe Chuck Noland didn’t have it so bad on that island all by himself after all in Castaway. Stay there and be happy, Chuck! Eat coconuts and talk to your volleyball. Forget the world because it hasn’t actually gone to hell in a hand basket. It’s gone there in a m-f-ing rocket ship!
Yeah, yeah, yeah. That’s just silly talk because access to other human beings and modern conveniences aren’t such bad things after all now are they?
Instead of being a Castaway we have to get back to the things that matter most. Return to what’s important.
