Proof of Usage has launched on Testnet!

Dear Community,

We’re happy to announce that the Proof of Usage consensus algorithm is now live on Testnet and will be undergoing unitary tests for the next month.

By November we aim to have optimised the algorithm further, to improve our capabilities for fault discovery. Various scenarios will be processed on Testnet for proof of usage such as masternode desynchronisation, malicious block pushing and transaction forging. Also the upcoming hackathon will help test penetration attacks on the network.

Importantly and in accordance with the launch a block explorer is also being built to browse transactions, certifications and smart contract invocation on the Testnet. Proof of Usage launching on Testnet is an important step in the Pikciochain journey and bringing smart contract support to the ecosystem.
