Pillow is an iPhone/iPad app. We craft intimacy nurturing experiences for couples to follow-along to at home with a vision helping form stronger relationships by improving communication and inspiring creativity.

We could call it covert sex education — and it’s about pleasure and communication.

Each episode uses the knowledge, know-how and wisdom of the writer — YOU, to create a unique experience for the couple.

Human sexual nature is so beautifully diverse. We’re looking for passionate writers who want to share their knowledge and experience — to improve relationships and make the world a happier and more peaceful place!

Want to get involved?

Here’s what you need to know:

  • You are likely a sex writer, sex blogger, erotica writer, sex coach, sex therapist, relationship therapist, couples councillor, or a passionate enthusiast for a specific kink!
  • Episodes are focussed on a particular theme. So far, we have explored aspects of touch, pace, appreciation, anticipation, eye gazing, sensory deprivation and temperature play, but there’s SO MUCH MORE! What are you interested in writing? Here are some more ideas: kindness, morality, kissing, sex toys, passion, respect, gratitude, wanting, nurturing, joy, romance, patience, desire, closeness, honest, support, openness, trust, value, devotion, boundaries, friendship, priorities…
  • We’ve included 2 example episodes below for you to check out. The first is called ‘Irresistibly Tantalizing’, and in this episode directions are given to just one partner. In the other episode below ‘Compliment’, directions are given to both partner’s.

Compensation

  • You’ll be listed as the author of the episode and there will be a link to your blog, website or Twitter account in the app. We can also feature you on our blog. We’ve had 10k downloads of the app so far, and are on track to having 50k downloads by the end of 2016.
  • You can receive 7% commission from any referrals that make a purchase on the App Store with Apple’s Affiliate Network e.g. if you promote Pillow to your audience, and they download our app and subscribe, you’ll get paid.

How-to get started

  • We’ll be in touch if we think there’s a fit.
  • We’ll schedule a Skype call to chat about Pillow.
  • We’ll give you the support needed for you to write the episode.
  • The script will be professionally recorded by our voice artists and reviewed by Kate Moyle, our Sex Therapist.

Episode Script Guidelines

  • Episodes are somewhere between 300–900 words in length, and should last for about 5–15 minutes. Here’s an example script, and another.
  • Pillow is for couples to use together, as an interactive experience.
  • Episodes are written without using gender pronouns, and can be used by all couples — MF and LGBTQI+.
  • Episodes don’t involve penetrative sex as we want to provide couples an alternative way to share intimate moments other than ‘the norm’.
  • Directions should be clearly understood by different ages, nationalities and cultures. However, we’re only focussed on the english speaking market right now.
  • Timing, spacing and pauses are important to give the couples the appropriate time to follow the directions or obey instructions.

Each episode is an exciting challenge to create, and it’ll be used by thousands of couples around the world.
