9th Graders’ First Impressions of SJND
Written by Tej P. ‘27
As the new class of SJND comes, we introduce a new set of talented and gifted individuals. Here’s what the new class of 2027 thinks about our SJND community.
Many of the students are excited to start a new chapter in their lives. We interviewed two smart talented freshmen, Hawah H. and David S.
Hawah said her favorite class was science because of the hands-on activities that they do. David said his favorite was physical education as he is an athletic individual who loves to play all sports, specifically basketball here at SJND.
Hawah said, “I’m excited to come to school everyday to be with my friends.” On the flip, David mentioned that he loves SJND because of their basketball team. He is excited to try out this winter for a shot to be on the team. He even says, “The reason I am excited about P.E. is because of Mr. Gonzales.” David looks forward to being in his class every week and working out next to him.
Overall, the freshmen here at SJND are looking forward to a fun and exciting school year. The class of 2027 has many diverse kids from different backgrounds from all over the Bay Area. The school community is excited to see where this talented class takes us. GO PILOTS!!
