Class of 2027: Permission by Sophie , Victoria, Janiya, and Jada.

I am writing this article to find out how the incoming freshmen have enjoyed their time at SJND so far. I am really interested to find out what these students feel because I have heard from family members in the past that becoming a freshman is hard and can be challenging at times, but they have explained to me that it was one of the most memorable years aside senior year.

Q1: Victoria, how are you adjusting to SJND these past few weeks as a new incoming freshman?

A1: I have been adjusting well to SJND. The first couple weeks were hard for me, having to find all my classes to make sure I wasn’t late. I have been told by family members that they may be hard but during that time it will give you a goal to achieve. Recently I have been able to overcome those challenges and I have been focusing on my studies and to top it off, I have been selected to be a part of the CLT team, so I am very excited to see what SJND has in store for my freshman year.

Q2: Sophie, how are you adjusting to SJND these past few weeks as a new incoming freshman ?

A2: I have been loving the new adjustment to SJND, I love the community, I love the class size, and I especially love how the teachers are there for you. I’m loving how everyone is close to each other and knowing that you can rely on each other and I’m glad that I’m able to be myself and meet new people because my middle school did not give me the opportunity to meet nice people and grow a bond with them. I’m glad I found people like you and our friend group who I know I can rely on.

Q3: Janiya, how are you adjusting to SJND these past few weeks as a new incoming freshman ?

A3: Adjusting to SJND has been a little difficult and has been a challenge for me, but with the help of my close friends family and teachers that have been by my side to help guide me through the tough times, I’m ready to achieve my goals. Even though the workload may be a lot, I know that I have very supportive teachers that are there for me to help my and guide me along the ways of my time here at SJND. I’m very grateful for the opportunity to go here and experience everything with such a close and tight community.

Q4: Jada, how are you adjusting to SJND these past few weeks as a new incoming freshman?

A4 : Adjusting to SJND has been, I would say, very fun getting to meet new people and with my class size I’m used to not having a lot of kids in my class so I love how it’s the perfect amount of students and still get the right amount of support from the teachers. I would also say I’m very excited to see what SJND has in store for me for the next 4 years and I’m very glad I met some very nice people I get to share those memories with.
