On Thursday, the 7th of September, SJND hosted its annual “Club Rush.” Club Rush is where all of SJND’s clubs and student organizations meet in the quad and advertise all that their club/organization has to offer.

The event offered many highlights that students would remember, such as great food from some of the student affinity groups. Another personal favorite seemed to be a “wheel of chance” from the Girl Up club. This wheel, when spun, lets students either get candy, get a photo feature on the club’s Instagram page, or receive a friendship bracelet. This wheel appeared to be a hit!

Across the quad, Mr. Calvin was leading a group dance activity that incited many laughs and cheers from bystanders who happened to be in the vicinity.

Meanwhile, in Notre Dame Hall, people were having fun as well. Many stopped by to admire an impressive display of a scene from the popular board game, Dungeons and Dragons which featured a 3D mold of a dragon from the game. Ricardo Lieba, ’27, later remarked to me that the dragon was an amazing display of creativity.

In my personal opinion, I would say club rush was a success. I felt the school spirit and it was interesting to see what clubs SJND had to offer.
