Fortnite recently made a huge comeback with their new season “Fortnite Og” which on the first day had a total of 44.7 million players in one day. I have enjoyed this season so far and it seems like everybody else is excited that Epic Games (the company that made Fortnite) would do something like this. However, since new people are playing this season, they may not be familiar enough with the map and could get killed easily. It’s important to know what are the best landing spots with the best loot and what to carry while you’re in battle, which I will be telling you today.

1. This spot over by Paradise Palms

This location consists of 18 chests, 6 ammo boxes, and 2 Atks. (Golf Cart)

This is a perfect place for players who want to get some loot and not die early in the game. However, one con to this spot is that it’s usually far away from the circle, so you’ll have to rotate quickly and you’re also near Paradise Palms so you’re not completely away from players. If you need more loot, there’s a gas station located nearby that you can head to.

2. The two houses near Risky Reels

This spot is great for duos, but also good for solos or squads. With two chests and one loot box in each house, it’s an amazing way to share loot equally and fairly so that you and your teammates don’t need to give up anything that you have. It’s also perfect for rotation, and here’s why:

There are a total of five chests located around the houses, making it the best spot if you need to change your loot and harvest some mats while trying to Rotate. This spot also includes an Atk (Golf Cart) which can help you or your squad rotate to the next circle or location. Here is another reason why this is a great spot:

This spot is very good for harvesting mats as it’s near wailing woods and there are even more chests that you can get if you are still not satisfied with the loot that you or your squad has. It’s also good if you want to try out the old vehicle that was brought back “The Driftboard,” which is a hoverboard that is also fast so you can move to the circle easier.

This is a great spot; however, there are some cons to this spot. You are near two locations (Wailing Woods and Risky Reels), which means that there will be a high chance of players so try and make sure that you or your team is the quickest and fastest to collect all the loot that you need to get.

Here is a tip from me when you are in the game:

Always carry small shields. Small shields (or minis) give you 25 shield but they can only help you get to 50 shield and they only take 2 seconds to drink but the thing is you can hold up to 6 of these, making it a great item to have in your inventory. Normal shields (or big pots) take about 10 seconds and grants you 50 shield per normal shield you drink. The only downside is you can only hold up to three and while that is good if you already drink two normal shields, you then have an extra one which you won’t need and it could take up space in your inventory.

Another tip is to try to find legendary weapons.

The reason why you should find legendary items is that they are the highest rarity of weapons in-game and they also do 10% more damage than epic weapons do, which may not seem like a big difference but when it’s close to endgame you’ll need all the best weapons you can get. This is why having a legendary weapon is a big advantage.

Overall, I hope this article helped you understand Fortnite’s new season, and I wish you success in winning the Victory Royale!
