Plenty of light

The roof came off today, the roof came off today, high ho the fibro’s gone, the roof came off today!

We had a fibro roof, yes of the asbestos variety. It was filthy, looked dreadful, and was probably not the best for us, nor our garden with the rainwater running off it.

We expected it tomorrow, but we came home this afternoon and in our daily drive by discovered a spectacular transformation!

It looks wonderfully bright inside, thinking roofless might not be the best way to go though! Bit of carpentry to be done tomorrow we think, can’t wait to see our new (blue!) roof before the week is out….
