A New Male Mind-Triggering Act in the Cameroon Music Industry has Just Announced His New Single

Cameroon in its recent years, has enjoyed a worldwide epiphany of its fast growing industries. One of its rapidly advancing industries is its Entertainment industry. From selling more than 2 million CFA francs album copies to collaboration with highly celebrated American singers, I think its safe to say that Cameroon-based musicians are well invested to take on the Africa, perhaps the world.
More so, the Cameroonian art keeps developing every day; with new acts, and new music. And even though it is not easy to get your ears on all new releases from new acts, it is still safe to conclude that the our better days are still ahead.
Legacxi, one the newest of the acts that we could get our ears on proofs to be one of those rare new acts that has uncovered a genre that might not be entirely brand new to the world at large, but it is new to the Cameroonian Music Industry. And so it is safe to say that he is a potential pace setter. His career has just begun and yet he proofs worthy of listing among the most talented names of Cameroon Music. He blends Afro-beat, and dance/pop fusion into an art that not only speaks to your mind, but also elevates and educates your spirit.
After beginning his professional career with a collab, The “Ass on Point” singer now looks forward to dropping his first single on his birthday on Friday, June 26th. This information was made public to via social media posts earlier this afternoon from the twitter accounts of Dustr Records (the label to which Legacxi is signed to).
“Humble Yourself” is the title of his new single to be released this June,
and according to the singer he is;
“Super excited, and humbled by this new project, and can’t wait for you to feel the same way when it comes to you in June” (Legacxi, on social Media)
And when Pinboard reached out to him on WhatsApp, here is what he had to say;
I’m still a baby in the [Cameroon Music] industry. loooool!!!. I mean, i have to show my elders in the game that I've got some art too…I’m on a mission to collaborate with everyone doing music in this country. Doing that i’ll learn from them, or teach them a thing or two.” (Legacxi, on whatsapp)
So we heard it straight from the man, his birthday/release party is going to be packed full of unforgetable moments. Spread the word, and be prepared.
