A Massacre

Large numbers of death,
At the hand of a man,
A cruel, hopeless waste,
Final for some… others hurt.

In the desert a young mother rears her child,
The child can walk! The child can talk!
Mama and babe on a clear fall night,
Sit and smile under the stars. Soon they die.

The evil descended and stopped their hearts,
Not their souls, not their love that defines them,
For the answer is that proof of good and evil,
The answer is peace which negates terror.

In fact we rise above the sick mind,
The sick mind reminds me of insanity,
Insanity reminds me of rot in nature,
Nature reminds me of renewal, growth.

Nature has many facets, one and millions,
Fall in love with nature which God provides,
God is good and evil is bad, simply put,
Let the light of life of love shine bright forever.
