Keep the Faith with Creative Expression
The COVID-19 lockdown period may just be the time for you to explore your latent talents, and give them the time and energy they deserve!
I’ve always been asked why I named my blog publication Pink Pinjra, as pinjra in Hindi means cage, and a cage is so limiting...
For me, true creativity is to find a way out even when you’re trapped — trapped physically, like in the current times of national lockdown; or, trapped emotionally and mentally, when you’re having a personal crisis, and wondering how to express yourself.
Each one of us have unique tools of expression aka talents, and these will eventually set us free... All we need to do is identify them, make time for them, and put in consistent effort to give them wings.
These wings will then help us step out of the cage and fly high, realising our optimum potential as human beings and as creatives.
It is now time to give expression to that unique talent of yours; or, to plan for your goals and dreams, and put them down on paper.
This period of lockdown could be a wonderful opportunity to introspect, reflect, and reinvent ourselves for the future — A future that is a true reflection of who we are!
