Announcing Pinnacle 2021 Date and Location
We’re excited to announce that Pinnacle 2021 will be happening in Dallas, TX on September 17–19, 2021. Our venue, Four Points by Sheraton at DFW Airport, has been graciously provided to us — just a 4-minute drive from Dallas-Fort Worth Airport, the second largest airport in the United States.
Transition from San Francisco to Dallas
Over the last few years, big tech presence in Dallas has been rapidly expanding. With the explosion of hiring in the area, we saw Dallas as a natural fit.
“Between 2017 and 2020, DFW added more than 10,000 high-tech jobs — from computer systems analysts to electrical engineers to software developers and more” (Dallas Innovates).
With this in mind, we couldn’t turn down the opportunity of hosting Pinnacle in Dallas. Our venue has a beautiful event space allowing us to host 200 Pinnacle winners with ample room for social distancing. This will enable us to deliver a safe and premium experience to all of our attendees.
COVID-19 Precautions at Pinnacle
We wanted to ensure Pinnacle would only happen if we are able to run the event safely for all. Everyone present, including staff, sponsors, and attendees, will be required to get vaccinated prior to the event. Winners who are unable to get vaccinated by the date of the event will have the option to attend Pinnacle remotely, though we anticipate a vast majority of our participants will be attending in-person. We will also be in full compliance with local and national guidelines.

Pinnacle is redefining what it means to win a hackathon, and we’re thrilled to be hosting the most competitive hackathon in history. We cannot wait to see what our attendees will build at the Olympics of Hackathons.
