Help Spread Holiday Cheer With Pintact!

‘Tis the season to be jolly — until you receive all the holiday cards returned by the post office because the recipients moved or the contact information you had for them is incorrect. Think of all the time — and expense — wasted on holiday cards that did not get to their intended recipients. More importantly, think of the disappointment in not being able to spread your holiday cheer to friends and loved ones — and having to explain to them after the holidays why they did not receive a card from you.

Unfortunately, those days are soon to be over. There is a fantastic new app in the App Store and in Google Play Store — Pintact— that makes it absolutely impossible to have someone’s incorrect contact information.

How could that be? Because Pintact completely flips the concept of the electronic address book. Instead of you inputting the contact info into your address book, the entries are actively managed by the owner of the information, not the recipient. For example, each Pintact member establishes different contact information profiles, like “Home,” “Work,” “College,” or as many as he or she wants. The member can then share any or all of these profiles with any Pintact member who requests the information.

The information exchange is mutual; that is, each party must give permission to share their info, since with Pintact, security and privacy is a priority. And the great thing is, if someone changes their shared contact information — for instance, they move, get a new job, or studies abroad for a semester — the change is automatically updated in everyone’s address book connected to that Pintact member! It’s that simple.

And as more people adopt Pintact, you’ll get fewer people bothering you for your contact info. So, no more wasted cards and postage during the holiday season because of incorrect addresses. Now, you’ll have to come up with a different explanation why your third cousin twice removed didn’t hear from you over the holidays!
