Mobile Analytics on Pinterest
We are happy to announce that Pinterest analytics on mobile is now available!
Pinterest’s Analytics is a great tool to help you refine your Pinterest strategy and improve your performance. The tools help you measure Pin performance, analyse traffic and learn more about what your audience wants.
Pinterest Analytics 101- Profile Analytics
On your profile, you can view your Impressions (number of times your Pins were seen on Pinterest), Audience (number of people that have seen your Pins) and Engagement stats (the number of Re-Pins, Close-ups and Click-throughs). These figures show the results from the last 30 days.
Performance over time
You can also view your stats over a select period of time, displayed in a graph. Select from any of the below:
Impressions- The total number of times your Pins were shown. This includes all Pins you saved to Pinterest, plus any Pins other people saved from your website and linked accounts.
Engagements- The total number of engagements on your Pins. This includes saves, closeups, clicks to your website. This includes all Pins you saved to Pinterest, plus any Pins other people saved from your website and linked accounts.
Close-ups- Total number of times people viewed this Pin in closeup. Clicked to take a closer look.
Link clicks- The total number of times people have clicked through to your destination URL on your Pin from Pinterest.
Saves- The total number of times people saved your Pins to a board.
Engagement rate- The total number Re-Pins, Close-ups and Click-throughs from your Pins.
Close-up rate- Total closeups divided by total impressions.
Link click rate- Total link clicks divided by total impressions.
Save rate- Total saves divided by total impressions.
Total audience- The number of people who saw your Pins. This includes all Pins you saved to Pinterest, plus any Pins other people saved from your website and linked accounts.
Engaged audience- The total number of people who engaged with your Pins. This includes all Pins you saved to Pinterest, plus any Pins other people saved from your website and linked accounts.
Monthly total audience- The number of people who saw your Pins in the last 30 days. This includes all Pins you saved to Pinterest, plus any Pins other people saved from your website and linked accounts.
Monthly engaged audience- The total number of people who engaged with your Pins in the last 30 days. This includes all Pins you saved to Pinterest, plus any Pins other people saved from your website and linked accounts.
Split your results
You can also split your results to dig a little deeper into your stats. Select from the below to see the breakdown of your results alongside each other on a graph:
Content type- Paid + Earned and Organic
Claimed accounts- Pins from your claimed accounts e.g. Instagram, YouTube, Blogs and Pins directly uploaded by you to Pinterest
Device- If Pinners engaged with your content on Mobile, Desktop and Tablet
Source- If Pins saved by Pinners are from your claimed accounts and Your Pins directly uploaded by you to Pinterest
Format- Static/Standard Pin, Video Pin and Story Pin

- You can also see what boards your Pins have been saved to by Pinners.
