We recently held our first Content Creators Brunch and we wanted to share what happened on the day — as well as some lovely pictures from the event. Held at Ace Hotel in Shoreditch on 11th August, we enjoyed a pin-worthy brunch with the stunning London skyline as our backdrop. We were joined by over 60 influencers and the room was buzzing with people sharing how Pinterest helps them discover and do the things they love…and also how they share their inspiring content with their audience.

The food was naturally one of the highlights and we curated a delicious menu inspired by current food trends we’re seeing on Pinterest. The colourful food bar was lined up with the edible flower porridge and soya yogurt (Saves for edible flowers +141%) as well as the heart-warming turmeric latte (Saves for tumeric +84%). On a side note, the mini vegan-friendly Pinterest Donuts went down a treat and were all gone in sixty seconds! (Saves for Vegan Recipes +30%)

Brunch was followed by educational sessions led by Pinterest employees, including Zoe Pearson, Meesh Pinch, Kate Allchin, Reena Rai and Christian Norman, sharing top tips on how to get discovered on Pinterest, key ways to optimise the profile and how to push your Pinterest game to the next level. (Full videos from the sessions will be uploaded in the following blog posts.)

We were also joined by expert panellists for two interactive discussions. Nik Speller, Navaz (Disneyrollergirl) and Hayley Hall shared their insights on the influencer landscape and the importance of being genuine while Gem (the Mother Cooker), Emily (A Mummy Too) and Lorna (Lorna Luxe) who shared their tips for creating great content and being discovered on Pinterest, including saving the same image to multiple boards. (Full videos from the sessions will be uploaded in the following blog posts.)

The event also included a creative flat-lay workshop by Kirsty (Labels for Lunch) and Ashanti (adorngirl). Creators were able to explore the fun and creative elements of product layout, and on top of all — the top tips of taking gorgeous photos.

Thank you to our friends at Ted Baker and Feelunique for providing products for the workshop.
