(4 practical hacks for all those who love free traffic)

Pinterest has become part & parcel of my life!

The reason is pretty obvious — this one platform has changed the trajectory of my life.

I started my journey as a content creator with this platform.

Failed many times.

Also, got to see a lot of good things.

And, all I can say after experiencing all those ups and downs —

This platform has gotten me used to FAILING.

I’m recently reading this book called ‘The Diary of a CEO’ by Steven Bartlett.

There is a specific chapter that talks about the need to FAIL.

When I connect the dots, I realize every word that’s written in this book is so damn TRUE

If I didn’t allow myself to fail at that time, I wouldn’t be able to get the massive results that I’m getting now on my Pinterest profile.

You can check out my earlier posts about Pinterest here, and hopefully, you’ll also find some kind of inspiration to at least give a try to this wonderful platform.⬇️

Pinterest, as I stated earlier, has helped me get some mind-blowing results — Outbound clicks being one of them.

For those who don’t know what outbound clicks are :

Outbound clicks refer to the instances when a user on a website or platform clicks on a link that directs them to another website or external destination.

For example, if you’re browsing an article and click on a link within that article that takes you to another website, that action is counted as an outbound click.

It’s essentially a measure of how many times users navigate away from the current website or platform by clicking on links.

I’ve got 33k+ outbound clicks on my destination URL, all from Pinterest, and that too absolutely for FREE.

Here are the 4 hacks that helped me achieve these results :

1. Follow the 5 Seconds Trick

The first 5 seconds really count!

Whether it’s a video, a blog, or a book chapter.

Like any other social media platform, Pinterest is also filled with a lot of content because the no. of creators is rising.

So, you need to apply this trick called — 5 Seconds Trick while creating your pins.

This trick is all about grabbing people’s attention within the first 5 seconds on Pinterest.

By designing pins that are visually appealing and clearly communicate the value or message within the first few seconds, you can increase the likelihood of people clicking on them.

To do that, you can use bright colors, clear text, and eye-catching images that help your pins stand out.

2. Add a Call to Action

Adding a call to action (CTA) means prompting your audience to take a specific action after engaging with your content.

This could be anything from ‘Sign Up To Get Access,’ ‘Shop Now,’ ‘Learn More,’ ‘Read Now’, etc.

By including a CTA, you guide your audience on what to do next, increasing the likelihood of them taking the desired action.

Look at the given stats :

On platforms like Pinterest, where users often scroll quickly, a clear and compelling CTA can prompt them to click on your pin, visit your website, make a purchase, or engage further with your content.

You can use the 50 Pinterest Call to Action guide to get started.

3. Make Your Hero Word Stand Out

A ‘hero word’ is the keyword or phrase that serves as the focal point or main message of your pin.

As you can see in the given example —

I’ve highlighted the word ‘CREATOR’ because I want all the people who’re creating content or even thinking about creating content to pay attention to my pin.

To make your hero word stand out, you want to emphasize it in a way that catches people’s attention immediately.

This could involve using larger or bolder text, a contrasting color, or placing it in a prominent position within your content.

By making your hero word visually distinct from the surrounding text or imagery, you draw focus to it and increase its impact on the viewer.

Give it a try😊!

4. Act Before the Crowd

This principle is all about staying ahead of the game by paying attention to TRENDS.

Trends can really help you get more traffic during that stipulated time.

That’s because lots of people are searching for them, making them explode in popularity for a short time.

On Pinterest, you can spot trends without even scratching your head.

I’ve written a few posts on ‘How to Find Trends on Pinterest.’ Give them a read here⬇️!
