We’re introducing a new dedicated space for people to discover more ideas from the people and brands they care about (like you!). The new Following tab lets your followers see your latest Pins, in the order you save them.

The Following tab also has built-in ways for people to find new profiles to follow — which helps you build an even bigger, more engaged audience on Pinterest. The recommendations are tailored to each user. They match interests and creators you’ve historically interacted with. For Pinterest to understand you’re a content creator, make sure you have a business account, have your website claimed, and are bringing in your content to Pinterest regularly. We’ll be surfacing creators to follow in multiple areas of the app so more people can discover your profile and ideas.

Remember, your follower count means something a little different on Pinterest than on other sites. Your followers are your biggest fans on Pinterest, and they’re always the first to see your ideas. They’re also first to weigh in on which content they love most. The more they engage with your Pins, the more we show it in other places across Pinterest — like search results, feeds and recommendations — for hundreds of millions of other Pinners to discover.

We hope you love this update! Let us know what you think on #pinterestcreators
