Every trader who has used out Grid Bot is already familiar with the Grid settings. Whenever you set parameters for the trading bot, you need to set the price range and in addition you have to choose how many grids (orders) you want within the price range.
So how much grids you choose plays a big role on how efficient your bot will trade.

Sparse Grids (=few Orders) VS Dense Grids (=many Orders)

The picture shows that if the price just fluctuates between 6,950~6,750, the dense Grid Bot has made significantly more trades, which makes it easier to make arbitrage even from small fluctuations. The sparse grid on the other hand has a relatively weak arbitrage ability in this case, since it only trades on big moves like 7,100~6,600. Therefore, the number of grids you can choose increases from 99 to 150 for Grid Trading 2.0 Bot, which has been requested many times. Is there any good strategy for setting 150 grids? Of course!

💥150 Grids + Leveraged Grid — up to 3× more Profit with high frequency arbitrage.

The Leveraged Grid Bot is an advanced version of Grid Trading 2.0, which can provide up to 3× leverage to multiply profits made! If you think some coin is in a clear up trend while fluctuating, you can create a Leveraged Grid. Choose a price range with a bit of room on the upper side and with 150 grids, the bot will make profit from the high-frequency fluctuations until that is price range is left. Once that happens you can close the bot in max profit or you can even add a “close bot at” price in advance, while you are you setting it up. The longer it stays in range the more profit your bot can accumulate by high frequency arbitrage trading.
So the combo: 150 Grids to drastically increase the trade frequency + Leveraged Grid to multiply the profits earned is really awesome!

💥150 Grids + Margin Grid — Doing short with high frequency arbitrage.

Let’s use BTC/USDT as example. If you think BTC will drop, you can create a Margin Grid to short BTC. A Margin Grid allows you to lock your USDT, and loan BTC by up to 2× leverage. You can think of it as locking your funds as collateral, to borrow funds which the bot will actually be using to trade with. This allows you to keep your USDT and not suffer from BTC dropping, while also making profit from the fluctuations and downtrend to earn BTC. Like in the first example, setting 150 grids can increase the times of arbitrage and trade frequency.
In combination with Margin Grid it will short BTC to earn BTC + while you can keep your USDT untouched to use them later at the bottom to buy back in. What a cool match!

💥150 Grids + Normal Grid Trading — long term strategy with a large price range

We all know the Grid Trading Bot has the best performance in a sideways market. But if the current price suddenly goes out of the price range, the bot won’t make trades anymore. So setting up a large range can extend the time your bot can make profit since it will reduce the possibility of the price leaving the range.
Setting 150 grids will also help your bot to drastically increase its trade frequency + combined with a large price range in a normal Grid Trading Bot that makes a perfect low risk long-term strategy ~

📝Tips for 150 Grid Setting.

(1) Normally 150 Grids will have the the best performance when the prices makes many small fluctuations.

(2) Leveraged Grid and Margin Grid all have the risk to be liquidated, so you should pay attention to the estimated liquidation price!

(3)When you set 150 Grids, you should have to make sure the Profit per Grid is high enough to cover the fees.
