Every week, Itching For More comes catapulting into your life like a runaway goat. This week, goat farmer simulator: Where The Goats Are, by Memory of God

A patchwork house and coat,
Pieces of different cloth, from different places, held together.
A slow life, languid and warm.
Goats, tiredly wander around the yard,
Chickens pecking away at nothing.

A patchwork city, far away, linked only by
The occasional letter, ink on paper.
Brothers, patchworked together.
Each has left Tikvah.

She is alone, in a patchwork world,
Her farm isolated.
Abandoned,
A patch fallen from the quilt,
A songbird dead on the ground.

Pen falls to paper, marking words.
Over and under, ink flows over the page
As Tikvah’s stick flows through the sand.

Goats, chickens, plants.
All of this is optional.
Sleep away the day,
Wake only for the letters.
Read, alone, as the world burns.

Where The Goats Are is pay-what-you-want, available here.
