It’s not the movies. They are all over everywhere. It’s not music. It’s not photo’s or documents. Its TV! What I mean is this: TV isn’t pirated out of the box because the episodes of ‘Grey's Anatomy’ or ‘How I Met Your Mother’ debut on TV. I can’t find the upcoming episode of ‘The Walking Dead’ which is on AMC but not on any torrent or newsgroup. It may show up AFTER its debut on TV, but never before. There are no ‘screener’s’ floating around the newsgroups. This being said, the content on these networks becomes all that much more important. And, I believe because its so accessable, that’s one of the reasons its NOT on the newsgroups or torrents as much as the movies and music are. No wonder ABC, NBC, CBS and Fox demand such hefty re-broadcast/transmission fees from cable. No wonder they are suing Aereo. But it is far easier to copy an episode of ‘The Walking Dead’ and share it than ‘The Incredible Burt Wonderstone’. Unless of course you work at a studio….

Next Article: The video industry may be encouraging the very behavior they seek to stop or Hollywood, piracy isn't a matter of legal rights; it's just business. Yup, one of the biggest sources in the world is in Hollywoods own back yard. Time to get a mirror guys.
