I would like to venture with you a look ahead to 2019. But first a review of 2018.
2018 has shown the investors of 2017 that crypto currencies not only go up, but are very volatile and can fall just as radically again. For this reason, it is difficult to venture an outlook on the exchange rates. I don’t have the glass ball either, so I’m primarily concerned with technology and adaptation.
I´m a Pirate, so I deal with Pirate. Where will Pirate’s course be at the end of 2019? I don’t know. My thoughts are subjective, I can speak for Pirate and will do so.
My vision is to bring ARRR to the people. Pirate has the technology to outshine other privacy coins.

Sapling Deadline
All sprout addresses must be migrated to sapling addresses by 15 February. 80% of the migration has now been completed. Nevertheless, there are still just under 9,000,000 ARRRs in Sprout. Much too much, JL777 warns and reminisces up-to-date and regularly in the Discord Channel.
Those who have not migrated their ARRR coins by the deadline lose their coins. The reason for this is the sapling update, which was installed in December. To be more precise, it was a hard fork. Sapling will significantly reduce the storage requirements for private transactions, resulting in significant improvements in the efficiency of shielded transactions, as well as updating the zk-snarks encryption of the blockchain to make it more secure.

Exchange Listings
The captains, especially FishyGuts, and community members like MrLynch and Acura are in contact with several Exchanges.
To continue to grow, we need new Exchanges. Binance would be a dream, but at the current time it´s not realistic. After all, PIRATE is only few weeks old. Negotiations with some Exchanges are well advanced. We don’t want to mention names yet, because we have had bad experiences with some exchanges in the past. As soon as we have something to announce, we will do it.
Social Media Crew
The pirates on the social media ships are currently working on new ideas. Anyone who wants to get involved is welcome.
You too are Pirate
A community project lives on a strong community. We already have a strong community and strong contributors, but to get bigger we need more users from the community who want to work for the community. Whether developers, writers, translators, designers or anything else, you can always contact Pirate and actively participate. We are Pirate!
Pirate Lottery Bot
All Discord users will already know our BotChat. By ARRR or KMD or Zilla, all of them provide a bot in their channels, with which you can send and receive ARRR, KMD or Zilla easily and quickly. The tool is often used to reward someone. A cool gadget that is now extended with a lottery. This lottery bot is currently in testing and will soon be available to everyone.
Roadmap 2019
If we look at the roadmap, we can see further milestones for 2019.
Besides the Sapling migration, which ends on February 15th, we will establish the Pirate Foundation in Q1, more about that later. The integration of the zSPV servers will follow in Q2. zSPV will make Pirate possible via deny Lite mode and on mobile devices.
The community is still working on the PaperWallet and already on its own desktop wallet. The website will appear in new splendour in the future.
