PIRATE CHAIN now live on EDGE
Pirate Chain (ARRR) is a privacy focused, decentralized cryptocurrency network. Utilizing zero-knowledge proofs, there is no transaction history and no middle-man, just like using cash between friends.
This focus on privacy and security is what makes our most recent collaboration such a great match.
Its been a long time in the works, but we are proud to announce that as of today, Pirate Chain is now live on the EDGE wallet app!
Edge is a very popular multi-currency wallet app that also takes advantage of a zero-knowledge security architecture with client-side encryption. This means all your data is encrypted on your device before it ever touches their servers. Creating a Pirate address in the Edge app, only you know it exists. Financial independence begins with privacy.
The integration of ARRR was funded anonymously from the Pirate Chain community, and made possible by the hard work of Pirate and Edge Developers. A big thank you to all involved!
WHAT IS EDGE?
Edge is a multi-currency app that supports over 130 assets, which now includes Pirate Chain. The app is available on both Android and Apple devices. You can even download the APK directly for degoogled devices.
As you would expect in a wallet app, there are all the needed features to send and receive ARRR. You can buy or sell crypto using bank transfers, Google Pay, Credit Cards, and other forms based on location. You can even purchase Gift Cards using crypto or earn crypto back on everyday purchases with their rewards program.
Most notably, Edge has a built in exchange. From within the wallet, you can easily swap between ARRR and other currencies
GETTING STARTED
To get started, go to the app store on your device, or https://edge.app/ to download the Edge app
When setting up the app, be sure to use a strong password. Under the settings, you can setup 2FA and check other security settings.
On the wallets tab, tap “+ Add Wallet” and search for Pirate Chain. It will take a moment to sync, but you will now have a Pirate Chain address to receive, send, and exchange ARRR from.
