Pirate Chain Newsletter Update May 2023 Recap
Ahoy Pirates! We recently had slow chain troubles as a result of a spam attack, but no security was harmed in any way. Developers are closely addressing this issue, and a new fee system is being developed to be less inviting to attacks and with a fair rate for everyone. Information will be made available after everything is resolved. The community is actively waving our privacy flag at events like the Sh*t Coin 2023 Conference, Monerotopia, and the Edge Pirate Party.
Forge is developing a particular, unique implementation that will have a big influence on our ecosystem. This implementation is still too early to discuss at this time, but it will certainly do so this year.

Ahoy! At the Monerotopia event in Mexico City, pirates found themselves in the Aztec land! Speakers from the privacy crypto sphere presented their views over the course of the three-day conference. Many more people, including Paul Puey (Edge Wallet) and Jeff Berwick (The Dollar Vigilante, as well as the Monero Tech Panel, were present to lend their diligence.
