Coinbase is in the news at the moment, with people discussing at length the company’s CEO latest blog post on corporate culture and the company’s mission.

Whatever side of the debate you’re on, what I’m sure we can all agree is that Coinbase is an incredible success in the crypto industry. Born three years after Bitcoin itself, Coinbase has survived through the many highs and the many lows of the industry.

Today, Coinbase is the go-to platform for people wanting to invest in crypto the easy way.

While the company reportedly prepares for its IPO, it’s a good time to revisit the original deck used by Brian Armstrong and Fred Ehrsam to raise $600k of seed capital in 2012.

It should be noted that this is not properly a pitch deck. These slides were first presented at the Y Combinator demo day and later used by the team in their discussions with investors.
