Writer Waffles on AI-Generated Content (Again)

The future foretold, and it’s not good news for machines

Except for clapping for my grandson’s articles, my favorite activity on Medium is to explain why James Bellerjeau is wrong. He’s usually right, but as a pink belt in social media marketing, I can easily find where he was wrong, even when he was right.

Case in point: James’ latest article about AI.

In short, James argues that Medium does zilch about AI, and it seems they don’t care who wrote a story as long as it meets their quality standards. James then concludes that we (the writers) are all doomed to use AI or to drown in a sea of AI-generated content. In his desperation, James even created a Substack newsletter.

In shorter, James worries too much.
