Hell hath no fury like a talentless Fortnite player scorned, it seems.

Yesterday morning, the delicate dandelion most commonly known as Mike Cavalier took to Twitter to voice some of his opinions regarding the media conglomerate PopCandie and its owner, Javier Reyes:

The tweets come in the wake of recent rumors that Cavalier and PopCandie were not on good terms, and this seems to all but officially confirm it. The 21-year old has been known to be quite the provocative tweeter, but many are surprised to see him attack a publication he has contributed to before.

Sources close to the situation believe that Cavalier’s tweets came as a result of some frustration with the massively popular multiplayer game Fortnite, which both he and Reyes have reportedly invested lots of time into.

Joshua Ury, a friend of Cavaliers, says, “I have to admit, Cav is on the wrong side of this one. It’s only a game and it’s important to not let it control you and make you say things you might regret.”

Another source, Janet Nelson, also commented on Cavalier’s reported bitterness stemming from the Epic Games product.

“He’s just trying to distract people from the fact that he never gets any kills,” says Nelson, “Reyes started playing it months after he did and already has more wins than him. Do you know why? Because Cavalier has never even won one f*****g game before.”

Reyes himself declined to comment on the story, but PopCandie did release an official statement:

“We are shocked and deeply saddened by the comments Mike Cavalier chose to share early yesterday morning. We here at PopCandie also take allegations like those that were shared by Mr. Cavalier very seriously, and are appalled by the amount of false information that was spread. There is zero validity to anything that he claimed. We would say that yesterday’s comments made us lose respect for Mr. Cavalier, but that would imply that we had any in the first place.”

We will continue to update this story as more details are uncovered.
