“Tim and Amy” is a personal favorite of both mine and Cory’s. We worked with both actors on separate shoots. We noticed they had a similar dead-pan expression and thought they would make a great couple.

The shoot itself was simple…We set a date and they both arrived having never met each other. We kept them separated until wardrobe and hair and makeup was finished. When they arrived on set, they had never met and this created the apprehensive, uncomfortable feeling that we wanted. The set was actually the man’s living room in his Hollywood apartment. They sat down, I asked them to hold hands and stare into the camera. Just before I released the shutter for the first photo of the day, his pug slowly walked onto the set, sat down and looked straight into the camera. I took the photo and the day was done. It couldn’t have gone better.
