Backlog Blues
How I am finally going to tackle my backlog of games
Video games. One of my favourite things. There is just so much entertainment to be had. But like many others, I have a massive backlog of games that just keeps growing. I always end up coming back to the same perpetual games, that basically never end. Sometimes I say to myself “there is no games to play”. Meanwhile I have about 40 games I own, but havent played. Most of these are on Steam, and were acquired in sales. I see something I think i’d like and buy It. Then it just sits, waiting to be played. Sometimes we don’t realize the investment of time required for a single game. Not all games are 40+ hour RPG’s, but even the shortest games will take a few hours of investment to complete. Or as I’d like to say, “retire”.
So you might be asking:
How does this help me tackle my game backlog?
I have decided to start a regular feature here on Pixels. Every week I will pick a game from my backlog that I haven’t played and talk a bit about it. Maybe it will help you form an opinion, and finally get to tackling that backlog.
