Life is Not Black & White

He begged me to meet him, he asked for a chance to explain.
I went to hear his excuses, but I was not accepting any of it.
We have been together a decade, we never married, but committed
to each other. Apparently one of us more than the other.
It hit me that regardless of anything he could say, I was all in,
so I got up, wobbly feet below me,and slowly walked outside. I
knew he was toxic. I knew I would believe whatever he said.
