Strategetic step in Personnel: Matteo Barale, new co-CEO exploring the new Moving Space global market
Starting from 1 Jan 2023, former Chief Product Officer and now co-CEO, Matteo Barale will lead PIX Moving’s expansion into the global market, as announced by PIX CEO Angelo Yu in the metaverse.
Matteo is in his fifth year as a core member of PIX Moving, where he has made significant contributions to its robotics development, including 27 robots and Moving Space, as well as business expansion in Europe when based in the Milan office beginning in 2019.
Matteo, an award-winning mechanical design strategist, robotic innovator, and project leader, previously worked for Autodesk and CHRIS BANGLE ASSOCIATES SRL, led strategy for the ETRA Project, and oversaw research and development for the famous Scribit project initiated by Carlo Ratti Associati which was exhibited at MOMA, New York City.
In addition, he is still actively involved in the startup and entrepreneurship communities through work with organizations such as Plug and Play Tech Center and TEDx Speakers. Because of his nearly ten years of experience and expertise in mechanics and design, his in-depth understanding of PIX’s products, and his unwavering dedication to technological innovation and entrepreneurialism, PIX entrusted him with the task of exploring new markets in the hopes of achieving sustainable global growth.

The year 2023 will be another starting point for PIX Moving, quoted by Angelo.

PIX Moving plans to increase brand recognition and establish a stronger presence in the western market in 2023. With the PoC project with AEON and potential cooperation with CRC, either the retailing or the real estate giants in Japan and China, we are beginning to explore additional retailing possibilities of the MSpace (PIX Moving Space).
