I’ve spent today installing a new comment manager at paulwilkinson.com, and have decided to convert from using categories plus pages to categories. So here’s my old “Ranching” page in the form of a post. Hope you enjoy it. (As you can see, I’ve also updated the site’s “theme.” Please leave a comment if you want to let me know what you think. Here’s my new front yard.

Rancho Oroblanco is named after the oroblanco grapefruit, which is the healthiest of about 20 citrus trees on the property. The view to the east of the ranch is here.

Being able to pull breakfast off a tree is wonderful. Because the oroblanco rind is so thick, I’ve found it’s easier to slice like an orange than to eat it like a regular grapefruit.
