Starting this September, Massachusetts Growth Capital Corporation (MGCC) and Patronicity will host a series of seven webinars for prospective applicants to learn about the Biz-M-Power grant program and to hear experiences from past program participants in their industry. These webinar sessions offer an opportunity to connect with the program’s leaders and past grantees, with the goal of preparing you to advance your business through an innovative approach of obtaining capital.

Since its launch in 2021, the Biz-M-Power Matching Grant Program has helped over 70 businesses raise over $1 million in contributions to receive over $850,000 in matching funds from MGCC’s Biz-M-Power program. Restaurants, breweries, book stores, bakeries, cafes, retailers, farms, food product businesses, salons, fitness studios and so many more have taken this opportunity to more deeply connect with existing customers, build a base of new potential customers and unlock matching funds through this innovating matching grant program for Massachusetts-based small businesses.

As we head into year two of the program, we’re kicking things off with a seven-part webinar series where prospective applicants can hear from other businesses in their industries about their experiences with the grant program, and tips and strategies they used to run successful crowdfunding campaigns. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions of MGCC and Patronicity staff and participating businesses.
