As we step into the new year, I would like to take a moment and look back at 2017. It was in many ways a significant year for our team. We continued working on our mission and made dozens of high-quality weather and climate datasets easy to access and work with. Below you will find links to all the new datasets added to the Planet OS Datahub as well as several cool developer tools showcasing what you can do with our API.

It was a prosperous year for our customers, especially the Australian AgTech company The Yield who helps growers make better on-farm decisions. You will find their story below. We also kept a close eye on the market and shared with you some of the most intriguing updates and exclusive interviews from the Renewable Energy as well as the weather data industry.

In this End-of-the-Year blog post you will find a curated list of our best stories and other highlights. Enjoy the read!
