Pluto in Aquarius, Part 2: This Is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things

If you define it as childish fun and games, that in which brings us natural joy, then perhaps we cannot have this (or at least not in the way we once understood).

As the walls have come tumbling down with Pluto in Capricorn, dismantling institutions as we knew them, now Pluto begins to solidify its placement in the sign of the water bearer (and yet, it will return to Capricorn one more time in our lifetime at the end of this year — finishing the job).

Over the years, the patriarchy has been a topic of discussion, as has been Brexit and Megxit (if you’ve been paying any attention). Systemic racism is another coined term, keyword here being “system.” Like water bearing Aquarius, Capricorn is also ruled by Saturn and its systems. With Pluto here, we take a deep dive into the ugly innerworkings of such societal strongholds and in such illuminated darkness, they either come into the light to die or to be reborn.

Naturally, the sign that Pluto is opposing is being shown the way of transformation through another. While in Capricorn, these were families (as ruled by the opposing sign of Cancer) having to make adjustments to systems in which they could no longer rely (e.g., schools).
