Community Update 04.26.24 — Entering the Canyon Blitz
It’s been a week of competing and mining for XP on Planet Atmos. We announced the Canyon Blitz, ExoGP’s first invitational competition. We hosted ‘The Golden Helmet’ Space, as well as a trivia contest, on X (Twitter). We gave away Golden Helmets and other prizes too. And last, but certainly not least, our first official ExoGP lineup gets celebrated in this week’s community wrap-up.
Canyon Blitz
We announced our first ExoGP tournament, the Canyon Blitz! There is only one way to get into the competition: you must have a Golden Helmet. Hop into to Discord for the latest opportunities to participate. We have invited a select group of ambassadors to be part of our first competition, while also hosting numerous contests and giveaways for other members of the community to join in as well. Eligible Atmosians holding a Golden Helmet will have the chance to qualify for the ExoGP Canyon Blitz Finals. The top 10 fastest racers who track the fastest time during qualifying will be invited to compete in a one day competition to race for the top spot and a chance at part of a $10,000 prize pool.
So Much to Say
The Planet Atmos team has a lot to talk about and share with the community. We hosted another Space on X (Twitter), further introducing some of the team and dripping more alpha about ‘The Golden Helmet’ and the ExoGP Canyon Blitz. As Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, “The desire of gold is not for gold. It is for the means of freedom and benefit.”
Citizens who joined us for the event were also given additional Emergent Trade Credits (XP) for participating and, as we discussed in the Space, it’s not a bad idea to accumulate as many of those credits as you can.

Not only are we giving away Golden Helmets, we’ve also been hosting additional contests for chances to win other prizes. We held an extensive randomized trivia contest on X (Twitter) this week, featuring questions about Planet Atmos, gaming, and Web3. We had a great time testing the community’s knowledge and seeing all of the enthusiasm while giving away Amazon gift cards to the winners. Stay tuned for additional opportunities.
Community Highlight
We’ve been building and testing and refining and testing again and, now that we’ve arrived at our first official ExoGP tournament, we want to give a special shout-out to our first round of ExoGP Pilots. The Canyon Blitz has begun and we are proud to have such a talented group of gamers on board for the launch. Godspeed, Pilots! May the best aviator win.
