Community Update 06.21.24 — Season Zero
The wait is finally over. The starting gate to ExoGP Season Zero has officially opened and the skies of Atmos are filling up with Pilots recruited from all corners of the galaxy and beyond. Our Genesis Holders have the first crack at trying out all the new features and putting in the best lap times on four different tracks, including three new ones. We announced a key partnership with Immutable, who are helping us make the ExoGP user experience as smooth and simple as possible. We also applied multiple updates and upgrades to our Discord server and played a handful of games with community and friends for a collective night of game-grinding.
Season Zero
We proudly announced the launch of ExoGP Season Zero this week, with key features including single and multiplayer races, access to four different tracks, and the ability for MKIV Genesis holders to use their suits in-game! Future seasons will include updates, such as new in-race capabilities, tracks, incentive systems, and more. Access codes for Season Zero are being distributed to Exo holders through the Planet Atmos Portal along with comprehensive documentation on obtaining game access.
You can still qualify to participate in Season Zero by picking up any Genesis Exo from a secondary market, such as Magic Eden, joining the Planet Atmos Discord, and verifying ownership in the portal. After that, the sky is no longer a limit… it’s just the beginning.
In Good Company
Also in ExoGP news, we announced our strategic partnership with Immutable this week. With Immutable’s zkEVM at its core, ExoGP offers unparalleled speed, security, and scalability. Players can seamlessly onboard into the game using Immutable’s Passport, eliminating the need for complex and time-consuming onboarding processes. The ultra-fast transaction speeds and cost-effectiveness of zkEVM help to ensure an uninterrupted and enjoyable gameplay experience.
In terms of scalability, Immutable’s zkEVM also provides the infrastructure to support the game’s growing player base and ambitious expansion plans. Discord Updates
We’ve been refining our Discord server to enhance user experience and make information more easily accessible. Our goal is to have a Discord server that is both informative and user-friendly, with clear communication and easy access to support for our members. Thus far, our efforts have been mainly focused on the following key areas:
- FAQs and Official Links Updates: We’ve updated our FAQs and Official Links channels to ensure they contain the most current and relevant information. This ensures that members can quickly find answers to common questions and stay up-to-date with the latest developments.
- New Ticketing System: We’ve introduced a more streamlined and efficient ticketing system for support within the server. This system allows members to submit support requests directly, enabling our support team to respond promptly and effectively.
- Channel Optimization: We’ve taken a critical look at our channels and identified those that were either unnecessary or redundant. These channels have been removed or combined, resulting in a more organized and clutter-free server structure.
- Opt-in Roles: We understand that every citizen is unique and often looking for different things from their community. We’ve added new optional roles for different categories and interests within our server to easily filter members’ feeds and channel access to best suit their personal needs.
Game Night
For this week’s co-community game night, we joined a game-grinding session with community friends while getting pumped for Season Zero of ExoGP. We played games like Knights of the Ether, The Beacon, and Bullieverse, where we hopped on hoverboards to play their new endless runner mobile game, Bull Run. Community Highlight
For our community call out this week, we want to give an extra virtual high five to our 2nd Place racer from the Canyon Blitz tournament, Rush. They have been extremely supportive and helpful since joining our community. Aside from excelling on the track and showing off their skills, they have also given some great, constructive feedback to the team about the game and the overall player experience. They were also the first to hop in and start streaming their races for Season Zero. We’re very happy to have you with us on Planet Atmos, Rush.
