Community Update 07.12.24 — Expanding the Flight Squad
It’s been wonderful to see the skies of Atmos ignited by the burst of so many thrusters, humming with the sounds of Exos in flight. This week, we extended the ExoGP olive branch to our good friends and community collaborators with early access and opportunities for rewards. We announced the details of our alpha rewards program and hosted our second early-access game night with our community members featuring multiple chances to win prizes and referral codes. And, as always, we have our community highlight.
Alpha Rewards
Now that early access gameplay has begun, we announced the Alpha Rewards program for our Pilots. In connection with our partnership with Immutable, we are offering daily and weekly $IMX reward opportunities for all of our Season Zero participants. There are, of course, rewards for being one of the three fastest Pilots each week. Plus, we are giving out daily $IMX rewards to one lucky racer just for putting in a race.
Game Night 2.0
We had a lot of fun during our first ExoGP Season Zero game night. We weren’t entirely surprised to see Rush take home the first win and receive the Game Night Champion crown. However, it was up to him to come back and defend that title at the next event, which took place on Thursday, July 11th.
And he did it again! Rush took home $IMX prizes for best lap times while also defending his crown as Game Night Champion for another week. The competition was fierce all around, with everyone else battling it out just a few turns behind Rush’s vapor trails.
All participants received XP for joining us in battle. We also gave away referral codes during the event which were, once again, chosen by the all mighty ducks. Congratulations to Aris for not only winning twice in the duck race, but also snagging a third access code win for their participation in our giveaway on X (Twitter). Congrats as well to Maslayro, who had a great performance as a new pilot in a starter suit and also took home a game access code to share with a friend.
Expanding the Flight Squad
Throughout the development of our new world, our community has been presented with numerous opportunities for benefits and rewards from other projects, games, and like-minded organizations. And now, it’s our turn.
We are currently extending early access to ExoGP to our friends, cohorts, and community partners. In addition to our regular game nights, we will soon be hosting head-to-head community partner battles as well. Whether you prefer the intensity of the racetrack or cheering from the sidelines, stay tuned for those partnership and game night announcements and join us in the Planet Atmos Discord for the next round of competition.
Community Highlight
This week’s community highlight goes to SunnyDe_Light. They were a fierce competitor in Canyon Blitz and we anticipate great things from them during Season Zero. We’re giving them our latest shout for spreading the word and name-dropping Planet Atmos to the greater gaming community on X (Twitter). We appreciate their community support and stewardship and their impressive piloting skills.
