Greetings, Citizens! We hosted another successful Game Night, with Val Valiant emerging as the new champion. We raffled off physical art prints, early access game codes, and more. We hosted gaming events in partner communities as well, introducing folks like Nyan Heroes and VEMP Studios to ExoGP. Planet Atmos team members participated in Twitter Spaces and community members Rush, Chomoz, Stark, and RamenCash were highlighted for their contributions to the community.

ExoGP Game Night Roundup

Thursdays are Game Nights on Planet Atmos, when we take to the skies to race ExoGP with our community. We had another fine group of talented Pilots join us this week to compete for glory… plus a chance at some $IMX, a MKIV Genesis Exo, valuable XP, an exclusive physical print from Tommy Lee Edwards, early-access game codes for Nyan Heroes, and an entry into our monthly Razer Wolverine XBox Controller raffle. As always, anyone is welcome to participate or just watch from the sidelines and there are opportunities for all attendees to win prizes .

Our reigning Game Night Champion was MIA for this event and Val Valiant didn’t waste any time taking that crown to become our new Game Night champ. Our fastest time of the evening on our designated track, Sickle, also came from Val and our top three racers for the night were Val, Chomoz, and Stark, respectively. We held a guessing game contest to see who could guess the 2nd fastest lap time of the event and, once again, Val was our closest entry, taking home 10 $IMX.

The omnipotent ducks were on hand to paddle their way across the finish line for our raffle contestants. Val had a very successful night and also took home a physical print of an original work by Tommy Lee Edwards. The Obelisk print showcases the opening of the ExoGP starting gate and the Obelisk rock formation that is the centerpiece of the ExoGP raceway in the Bounty Region. Nyan Heroes early access game codes were quacked (or perhaps, meowed) out to several citizens as well. Congrats to all of our best racers and our contest winners!

Exo-Eat-Exo

We’ve been playing a lot of ExoGP lately (not that we weren’t already!), and this week we joined two partner communities for ExoGP gaming events held in their courts. Richard Ng and CURIEUXQUEEN introduced them to the mechanics of the game, the layout of the interface, and details on how to choose your Exo, score on the leaderboards, and earn rewards while playing. And then we raced.

On Tuesday, we got to spend time with the crew from Nyan Heroes and their community. They showed us a lot of purr-sonality and had a wonderful cat-itude. We also saw some talented rookie Pilots amongst their ranks who just might make it into the ExoGP hiss-tory books someday.

Later in the week we visited VEMP Studios to host lobbies and share tips during their jetpack-fueled game night. Another fantastic event with a fine group of enthusiastic, passionate folks. It’s been thrilling to watch how quickly some of these new Pilots have learned the game and the flight controls and are already clawing away at the leaderboard.

Beneficial Missiles

Now that the missiles have arrived on Planet Atmos, we are hosting a UGC contest after Game Nights to find the best missile-featured clips from our Pilots. Missile wins or missile fails, we just want to see the best explosions. Anyone can participate by recording a clip of themselves playing ExoGP featuring our first element of combat, the homing missiles. Share the clip, tag @planet_atmos on X (Twitter), and share your tweet in our Discord for a chance to win $IMX.

This week’s winning clip comes from Chomoz. Their winning clip showcased a couple of direct hits as well as a nice dodge from Community Manager Andrew Chromatic.

Digital Dialogue

Members of the Planet Atmos team took part in two conversations on X (Twitter). Founder and CEO of Planet Atmos Kevin Beauregard was invited to join Sam Steffanina and Helika for their Web3 Gaming Space “Where Are We Now”. They chatted with a panel of other founders and builders about their successes as well as their challenges along the way and their thoughts about what works to support builders within the Web3 Gaming space.

“No one that you hire is going to have the exact same understanding of these technologies, this space, or what’s happening in it at any given time and so it’s really important to establish that as part of a culture, as part of what you’re doing, and then ultimately also be learning from what those people are seeing and how the space is evolving.” — Kevin Beauregard

VP of Marketing Richard Ng was in the virtual hot seat with VEMP Studios for a deep dive Q&A on the experiences and inspirations that led us all to Planet Atmos, ExoGP, Exordium, and more.

Community Highlight

This week’s community call-out goes to Rush, Chomoz, Stark, and RamenCash. These citizens are not only great Pilots but also outstanding examples of what it means to be part of a community. They are all regular participants in our weekly Game Nights and have also been taking time to join our external events with partner communities and show support, join in the races, and help new recruits learn the ropes. Much thanks to all of you and everyone else who goes out of their way to spread the word, participate in events, and provide extra support to our awesome community!
