Community Update #18

We’re at another week’s end, fellow Atmosians. This week, we continued the momentum following our two mint outs, working hard on developing the next comic chapter and continuing the work on our forthcoming AAA racing game, ExoGP. But we also drew back the curtain a little more, providing new content and chances to hear from the team.

Standard Edition of Exordium Chapter 01

One week after the Digital Collector’s Edition of Exordium Chapter 01 was available via an allowlisted free mint, the team was proud to release a standard edition of the book for comic fans who use digital readers.

Available on sites like Amazon and Kobo, this edition is focused on the segment of the comic community that doesn’t yet engage with digital collectibles. As part of this, the Standard Edition does not impart any of the perks that Digital Collector’s edition holders enjoy.

Writers Talk | Exordium Chapter 01

On Thursday, we held a Twitter Spaces with the two lead writers of the Exordium series, Dylan Bushnell and Rob McEveety. During this time, they fielded some of the questions from the community about the comic, its creation process, and the world we see in the first chapter.

It’s always a pleasure to have these two speak with the community, and it won’t be the last opportunity to ask them questions or geek out with them about Planet Atmos!

The team will also be hosting more AMAs and office hours in the coming weeks to address questions from the community not directly tied to the storyline. Keep an eye out for an announcement about that soon.

Community Highlight

With the influx of new community members it has been difficult to pin down singular moments to highlight, but here are some of the most awesome folks in our community over the past week and why we’re highlighting them.

• Kcaryths is a regular now, and we’ve truly enjoyed chatting with them about all things comics and more
• tLr209 has provided some great insight into how some of the analytics tools the space uses work, helping educate our community
• My name is Baaaaaaa comes by to ask questions and chat regularly, it’s always nice to hear from them
• Whiskey-Tango-Foxtrots asked some tremendously interesting questions for the Writers Talk this week, and has been one of our more enthusiastic new members
• 起风了 recently came by to ask what they could do to help the community grow and stay more engaged — this highlight in particular is something that we were humbled by and grateful for

Together, Approaching the Line

While these first months of Planet Atmos have been a flurry of excitement and progress, it’s important to remember that we are still extremely early. We are building an entirely new world with our community and invite you to meet us at the starting line, eyes transfixed on the finish line that we’ll cross together.
