Community Update #64 — Loyalty and Hard Work

Greetings again citizens! This week we explored more comic character lore, shared an opportunity to collaborate with another community, learned about the MLB hosting a live game in a virtual stadium, and recognized community manager AndrewChromatic for all their hard work!

Choosing Chosen: Del Carthago

Del Carthago is the lead engineer of Team Chosen and one of Pesh’s most loyal friends. He is always looking out for the best interest of the team. This concern can seem like suspicion at times and he is more risk averse than his teammate when it comes to team management.

Community Loop

Community manager Tradesgiving continues to provide collaboration opportunities for Planet Atmos ODH role-holders. This time with BloodLoop, ODH members have the chance to receive one of eight allowlist spots for BloodLoop’s upcoming free genesis mint based on their participation in their community spaces.

Virtual Field of Dreams

Major League Baseball took the plunge on live virtual spectatorship for a baseball game on Wednesday the 20th. The Tampa Bay Devil Rays and the Los Angeles Angeles faced off at Tropicana Field and in the metaverse.

Fans with MLB accounts were able to sign in to their MLB profiles, customize an avatar, and watch the live game simul-casted in 3D into the virtual park. They could explore the park grounds with friends and even participate in a scavenger hunt.

Community Highlight

This week, we take a moment to call out AndrewChromatic, one of the Planet Atmos community managers. Andrew helps keep the community moving and works on content to share. He’s always ready to chat with new and veteran members alike. Perhaps most surprisingly, he’s created a fan-inspired ExoGP racing team with a squirrel that he nursed back to health.
