Community Update #70 — New Store, Timeless Products
--
This week, as we continue the daily grind to build this new world, we announced our new online shop for ordering physical wares, like Exordium comic books and limited edition art prints. We also learned about an exclusive new offering from Atari that’s both ultra-retro and ultra-modern, gave kudos to one of the wizards behind the Planet Atmos curtain, and more.
Exordium IRL
Still riding the buzz from NYCC, we’re bringing its exclusive merch to our subscribers! We’ve opened the doors to our new online shop for direct ordering of physical copies of Exordium Anthology book of Chapters 01–03, Exordium Chapter 01, exclusive artist prints, and enamel pins. Don’t miss your opportunity to get yours while supplies last.
Industry News
Iconic retro game publisher, Atari, is reviving the Atari Club and launching a limited-edition run of Members Only jackets inspired by the 1980s originals. Through an official collaboration with the Members Only fashion brand, these jackets will only be available to holders of Atari’s ARC NFTs, and only for a limited time. In addition to early access to merchandise, NFT holders gain voting privileges, discounts, and presale access to the new limited edition jackets.
Atari has been involved in the crypto space for the past few years, with a focus on blockchain integrations and, according to Tyler Drewitz, Atari X director, the company is committed to helping redefine gaming through Web3 technology. While they are considering Web3 player ownership and third-party integrations, they aim to maintain a fun gaming experience rather than adopting a “play-to-earn” model that focuses solely on speculation and earnings.

Community Highlights
For our community highlight this week, we want to acknowledge Atmos Labs’ Creative Director, Tommy Lee Edwards, aka TLE. Beyond illustrating countless pieces for books, merchandise, magazines, and posters, TLE perhaps feels most at home putting his imagination and storytelling flair to the test as a conceptual designer, storyboard artist, and director for film.
With a resume that’s longer than a CVS receipt (our US community members will understand), TLE has been the fulcrum of the art production and overall development for Planet Atmos, Exordium, and ExoGP. Whether it’s the shape, size, and color of an Exo gauntlet or a rusty rivet on a racetrack signpost, TLE has been involved. Without his talents, leadership, and resilience, our world would simply not exist. Kudos to the man, the myth, the legend, Mr. TLE.
