ExoGP Season Zero is Here!

The Races Begin

The wait is over! ExoGP Season Zero begins today. We’re excited to have you join us as the first group of pilots to take to the skies as Exo Racers.

Our road to Season Zero has been a wild one and we’re grateful for your on-going support. You’ve been with us at events such as NFT.NYC and New York Comic Con, joined us for some burner race events in Hollywood and New York, and of course competed in Canyon Blitz, our first online competition.

What is Season Zero?

Season Zero is the first public access release of the Alpha Build of ExoGP. During this stage of release, players will be able to access a variety of gameplay functions that are being tested, refined, and sometimes removed, on our way to full release of the game.

Key features that will be included in the release today include:

Single-player races with competitive leaderboards

Competitive leaderboards will be used to track Pilot performance across tracks and results will be fed into our upcoming incentives system. We’ll also be using leaderboard performance as a basis for qualifying rankings for upcoming events and tournaments.

Multiplayer races supporting up to eight players

Up to 8 players will be able to lobby up and get into group play together. While lap times in multiplayer won’t be tracked for leaderboard rankings, you’ll get something nearly as valuable — bragging rights.

Access to four tracks

This release includes three brand new tracks in addition to Manta, the track featured in the Canyon Blitz tournament. Each track presents unique challenges and will require different skills and techniques. Lap practice is key — you never know when they’ll show up in an upcoming competition.

MKIV Genesis holders can use their suits in-game!

The exclamation mark is very intentional here. MKIV Genesis Exo holders can link their wallets and fly their suits in game. Want to show off the unique cosmetics you have on your suit? Go for it. Want to show off your allegiance to a specific ExoGP League team? Do it. Want to wreak havoc in multiplayer and look great while doing it? We’re not going to stop you.

Powered by Immutable zkEVM

We’re proud to announce that ExoGP will be powered by Immutable zkEVM. We’re working with the team at Immutable to ensure that your experience in Season Zero and beyond is seamless, scalable, and optimized for Web3 gameplay.

What does this mean?

Simple Onboarding

Jump straight into the action with Immutable’s Passport. You can create a new secure wallet super-fast and access it from anywhere with no seed phrase or password required. ExoGP is one of the first games to utilize Passport, but the list of high-quality games using Passport is growing.

Seamless Transactions

Blazing-fast and cost-effective gameplay. Using Immutable zkEVM means you don’t have to pay for gas and all transactions happen in the blink of an eye. Spend more time playing, and less time waiting.

Future Scalability

To support our future plans. Immutable zkEVM gives us the power to deliver novel experiences not possible before. We’re building a seamless and interoperable ecosystem of games and experiences, and Immutable gives us the best tools to do it.

How Do I Get Access to the Game?

Access to Season Zero play will be managed through distribution of access codes for us on Epic Games.

Access to Season Zero play is being released in waves. Our release waves are as follows:

Wave 1 — MKIV Genesis Exo Holders

Starting today, all MKIV Genesis Holders will be granted access to Season Zero.

Wave 2 — Community Partners and Referrals

Our next release wave will be open to our community partners. In addition to this, we’ll be activating a “refer-a-friend” system so Pilots can invite friends to join them in Season One.

Wave 3 — General Public

Following Wave 2, we’ll be opening up access to Season One play to the general public.

There’s a lot cooking here at Planet Atmos. As Season Zero progresses, we’ll be patching bugs, adding features, and hosting events. Things to keep an eye out for in upcoming updates include:
