Who is Dort 13?

Dort 13 stands alone as the chosen champion of the Outlying Clans and the Ancient Ways. Taken from his traditional role of a miner, Dort 13 will come to experience things no Dort before him has. The Dort Clan has manned the mines in the name of Corporation Z since they came to power centuries after the First Great Storm. No information on the traditions and lifestyle of the Dort Clan survived the aftermath of the First Great Storm. It is only assumed they mined in some capacity during that time as well.

Dort 13 and his adventures through time and space quickly reveal there is much more to this Clan than previously believed. Dort 13 is able to access magical abilities rumored to still exist on the Outlying Planets. The Dort, especially Dort 13, hold magic within themselves. It will be revealed to Dort 13 that his Clan is a remnant of The Ancient Ways and powerful possessors of the Ancient knowledge despite their current role. Dort 13 discovers how Dort are produced by the Corporation which also proves the Dort were the counter part to the dreaded Storm Chasers. Children from the same womb. How the Dort were at one point defeated then reprogrammed to perform their current duties is also unknown.
