How to Do a Weekly Review of Your Tasks And Goals

Here’s a 30-minute routine to stay on track with your dreams every seven days.

A weekly review is a great way to start the new week fresh and focused.

It’s time for you to clean up your digital workspace, clear your inboxes, and plan out your tasks and meetings for the next 7 days.

The review is essential if you want to measure how successful these goals were by the end of each day. This will allow you to quickly adjust as needed so that all of those quarterly goals are met!

Step One: Workspace Declutter

The first step is to declutter your digital workspace.

This includes deleting any old emails, unsubscribing from newsletters you don’t read, and organizing your folders in a way that makes sense to you.

Once this is done, move on to clearing out your inboxes.

You can either do this by archiving or deleting messages, or by setting specific times each day to check email.

Step Two: Look Over What’s Ahead

Next, take a look at your weekly planner and make sure all of the scheduled meetings and tasks for the week are accounted for.

Make sure you have enough time to attend to all these commitments and still execute your regular deliveries.

If anything needs changing, now is the time to do it!

Step Three: Track Long-Term Goals

After that, it’s time to check in on those quarterly goals. Are they still relevant? Could they use some tweaking?

Make any changes needed and then move on to planning your next day.

Step Four: Make Sure Your Week Has Good Days

By the end of each workday, you should have a plan for the following day.

This will help keep you focused and ensure that you’re making progress on your goals.
